REVIEW: Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

12:00:00 PM

Hello lovelies,

It's a gloomy day today in Adelaide with the weather forecast saying it'll rain literally all day.
I'm just here putting my thoughts out there while waiting for Lewis to wake up and get his butt out of bed.

Anyway, I thought I'd share this product with you because seriously this my HG. (Holy Grail for those of you who don't know)

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Gel
This is Nature Republic's Soothing & Moisture Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel

I got this from YesStyle for $16.50 for 300ml because we don't have a Nature Republic store in Adelaide.
I'm not even sure if we have it in Australia for that matter but that's what online shopping is for!
If any of you stay in a country that has their store then buy directly from it because it's A LOT cheaper.
I go back home to Kuala Lumper, Malaysia at the end of every year to celebrate Chinese New Year and that's when I stock up on all my Korean products.

Ingredients: Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Alcohol, Glyceryl Polyacrylate, Dipropylene Glycol, Water, Butylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Carbomer, PEG, 60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Triethanolamine, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium EDTA, Parfum, Polyglutamic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract/Melissa Officinalis Extract/Mentha Viridis (Spearmint) Extract

Free from: Parabens, Mineral Oils, Artificial Colours

Nature Republic Aloe Vera 92% Gel
I've been using this for more than a year now and this has done wonders for my skin!
It's a gel so it absorbs pretty quickly and it has a natural cooling sensation which makes it perfect for the hot summer days/nights.
The best part about this is that it can be used on your hands, legs, feet, hair, face.. Anywhere on your body!
I usually just use this on my face as a moisturizer.

On the down side, it comes in a tub so some may think it a little unhygienic but in that case, I suggest using a small spatula to scoop the gel out.

Aloe Vera is very well-known and useful for:

Treating sunburn, Treating acne, Moisturising, Anti-aging, and many others.

You can also try using it as a mask.
What I do is put on heaps of it on my face to make a really thick layer and just let it sit for 20-30 minutes.
NO, do not wash off all that amazing nutrients that are good for your skin.
After 20-30 minutes, I just rub in circular motions all of the remaining gel on my face and hands and leave it.

You'd be amazed at the results. It definitely reduced the amount of pimples I get and made my face smoother, firmer and brighter. I absolutely love love love this product.

THE FINAL VERDICT
Pros:
Moisturizing
Face feels smoother
Nice cooling sensation
Absorbs quickly
Reduced inflammation due to acne

Cons:
May be unhygienic to some (Comes in a tub, so use a spatula)
Pricey if bought online compared to in-store

Packaging: 8/10
Ease of use: 9/10
Effectiveness: 10/10
Affordability: 8/10 (Since I buy it for a cheaper price back home)
Repurchase: Definitely! I'm already waiting to get my next tub as I'm running out soon.

  4. Have heard much about Nature Republic but not used any of their products yet. I used to apply raw aloe vera on my skin. This one is more convenient.

  27. Aloe vera is very beneficial plant by which you can cure any kind of problem. Whether it is acne, herpes, blemishes and constipation aloe vera is helpful in all problems. You can buy aloe vera gel from any store or if you want you can grow this plant in your backyard. If you drink aloe vera juice on a daily basis you will stay away from lots of internal problems.
